The only encouraging part was that some of the Republican lawmakers did try to stop this from becoming part of the curriculum. > Republicans who objected to the process the standards went through filed a resolution last week to block it, but that resolution didn’t make the floor agenda on Tuesday. At least that’s what I gathered. But it wasn’t enough and these lies, conspiracy theories, and propaganda will end up going to Oklahoma students for at least one school year. This should hopefully be great red meat for the midterms if Democrats want to capitalize on it. ---

Not that it would have changed the result, but I’m …curious about the 35 Democratic Representatives who voted with the Trump/MAGA/burn-baby-burn side. It worked out so well when they used to do it for voters way back when… \< insert usual Family Guy meme here \> The requirement was previously removed back in 2015 because they couldn’t substantiate the harm it was supposed to mitigate. Not that that matters now. ---

I don’t know if this is a stupid idea so much as business as usual but Karrin Taylor Robson has declared she is running for Arizona governor. Her campaign [website](https://karrinforarizona.com/) mentions a few goals like stronger borders, stronger economy, and stronger Arizona without detailing just how she intends on achieving these goals. Her ads appearing on YouTube every ten minutes only say that she has been endorsed by Trump, nothing else. She neglects to mention that four years ago she ran for governor, saw Trump’s endorsement go to Kari Lake instead, who then lost. Especially with his recent 100-day scorecard, the endorsement is not the flex she shinks it is.
