Was the suit brought by Donald as an individual, or was it on behalf of the entire USFL? Wikipedia says there were 18 teams. If the damages were split equally among the owners, Trump’s share would have been 20.8888… cents. For that amount, I’d go back to a check. 18 checks for 21 cents, each. After Trump signs it, and cashes it, I’d frame that sucker. ---

The state governors run disaster relief in their own states. So he wants to empower states to have more control by controlling their own funding rather than depending on the feds to give them money. ---

I guess there’s a certain amount of logic to what the Republicans are doing. People flee to the United States because they are trying to escape horrendous situations in their home countries. Lawlessness, human rights violations, extreme poverty, authoritarianism, murder, ethnic persecution, militant cops on the take from criminal overlords… Just make this nation as bad or even worse than their home countries, and not only will they no longer come here, but those who already arrived will try to seek asylum from the US! Kind of genius in a dystopian, sociopathic way. ---
