Because she’s just that fucking stupid. ---

I suspect the fact that “weather manipulation” isn’t possible (yet) isn’t going to stop them from prosecuting someone for it. ---

I particularly liked this gem: “In a since-deleted 2018 Facebook post, it was reported that Greene suggested that “lasers or blue beams of light” from “space solar generators” in the sky, controlled by Jewish people, may have caused a spate of wildfires—including the 150,000-acre Camp Fire in California that killed 85 people. She has denied she made such a claim in a later interview.” ---

To be fair she didn’t explicitly label the space lasers as Jewish. She instead blamed the Rothchilds corporation, which is run by a Jewish family, around whom lots of conspiracy theories have developed all of which strongly overlap with antisemitic stereotypes. So people read between the lines and used “Jewish space lasers” as a shorthand for her conspiratorial thinking, but it was a specific set of Jews that she was blaming rather than “The Jews” as a whole. Also there have been some [tests](https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/geoengineering-test-quietly-launches-salt-crystals-into-atmosphere/) of geo engineering by spraying salt crystals into the atmosphere which were not publicized before being completed, and probably should have been, so it’s not entirely meritless. But it’s a far cry from weather manipulation. ---

I’ve never seen a shred of evidence to suggest that she’s anything but a genuine idiot. A lot of her money comes from a business her dad literally gave to her, and while she was CFO on paper she had no real involvement with it. Aside from posting conspiracy theories and gym training, she ran a Facebook group that sent death threats to Democratic politicians. That’s what she did prior to being elected to the House. She’s a spoiled, damaged nepo baby, not much different from Trump, though she’s actually accomplished less in life. All indications are that she really is that stupid and genuinely believes the insane shit that she regurgitates. ---

I still think that she’s just acting stupid because Putin is paying her to do so. Genuine stupid or crazy would be more random. She’s consistent in the ways that she’s stupid, and it’s always in Putin’s favor. ---
