They keep talking about how the Democrats and the Left are stupid, incompetent, and can’t do anything, but they also keep talking about how the Democrats and the Left are controlling everything and playing 4-dimensional chess behind the scenes and involved in successful conspiracies…. Which is it? * * * Even if the Democrats had caved they would have come up with some new reason to trigger a shut-down and blame it on the Democrats. Because they don’t want a functioning government at all, they want to demonize everyone not them. ---

I prefer complying to the letter of the law. Find the short, dead end alley where the dumpsters and the old fryer grease accumulate and call that CK Memorial Lane. And leave some dead rats in there, for good measure. ---

It really shows how far (how low really) the RW traitors are having to go to find heroes these days. What I don’t know, since my head is crammed firmly into the sand, is how much traction the canonization of Kirk is getting amongst the MAGA rank and file. They desperately want to turn him into the Archduke Ferdinand of their hoped-for civil war. Is it working? ---
