If you remember the car, though, it was certainly no luxury sedan. A big green (or brown) monster.

KRAMER: Why don’t YOU go into the store and I’LL wait in the car?

GEORGE: Because, I’ve got the coat. I can sit in the car and not get cold.

KRAMER: So what I’m going to leave the car running and the heater’ll be on.

GEORGE: Does the heater even work in this car?

KRAMER: No.

The [Wikipedia article](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmo_Kramer#Employment) on Kramer’s employment is rather impressive.

How often Kramer resorted to using the n-word in awkward situations? E.g. during the Aids-walk beatdown, karate class kicking to the curb, etc.

Oh, yeah, it was crap. I was thinking of insurance in NYC, even on a junker.

And besides, he had the money to buy wood-grain wallpaper to decorate his apartment like a ski lodge, and refit it to look like the Merv Griffin set. 😉

Don’t forget he also moolah rolling in from selling the movie rights to the coffee table book. I believe that was the episode in which he retired and moved to Florida.

Jerry: Brains? Newman, you wouldn’t eat brains if it was deep-fried in chocolate sauce!
Newman: I love brains. They’re…good for you.

Newman: Gladly. [chews brains, then spits it out] VILE OFFAL!

The cashier (her real name and the character’s name is Ruthie Cohen) appeared in the background of dozens of episodes (IMDB says 100) and she only had a speaking part once.

Well, to keep this zombie undead: When WGN began airing reruns of ALF, it was with great surprise that I noticed Raquel Ochmonek was played by Liz Sheridan, who also played Jerry’s mom on Seinfeld. I had seen ALF in its prime, of course, but later, when I began watching Seinfeld, it had been so long since I has seen an episode of ALF, I never noticed that Helen and Raquel were played by the same person.

That episode had both David Dinkins and Rudy Giuliani. They filmed 2 endings, and aired the version based upon who won the mayoral election.

(contributing to the Zombie Thread)

Kramer’s car was a green or brown GM vehicle, roughly between 1970 and 1974, but there was more than one. I’m not sure how many, but I know that one was a Chevrolet (Caprice or Impala), and one that they showed a lot of exterior shots was a Pontiac. If you weren’t paying close attention, it would appear that they were all the same car.

I intended to start watching again just to see if I could ID the car(s) but never got around to it.
