Yeah, I had some serious issues with the board earlier this evening. I went and looked and we had some heavy traffic, over 10,000 simultaneous users. We see a lot of people all the time but not quite like that. I suspect demand was just too high for the servers and it got bogged down trying to handle everything. ---

I’ve noticed something that may(or may not) be pertinent. On my browser(chrome), the User CP page never stops ‘loading’, even after the page is displayed. Says it’s waiting for [ping.chartbeat.net](http://ping.chartbeat.net). Just thought I’d point it out. ---

For purposes of further data milling, I’m on the same side of the world as Chi-town, like six and a half hours straight south. And as stated earlier in the thread, it happens often enough to me that I didn’t realize it wasn’t just a broken feature for everyone. Also the slowdown is still an issue, second clicks, and third clicks, are increasingly necessary lately. ---

I logged out, then logged back in 40 minutes later. Not zapped. But I find it interesting that the first time in days I inadvertently opened up my real account earlier, I got zapped right away. That’s one reason I didn’t realize I’d signed in on my real account, there were no posts to act as a marker. I may not be logging in again for a couple of days. It’s a busy weekend coming up. ---

I do occasionally have to show a passport going between here and the rest of the continent… Other data from past investigation - we seemed to rule out browsers, time of day, and location. I don’t recall off hand if we ruled out PC versus Mac…have we? Do we have data on people being zapped on a Mac? ---
