Some years back, the old Court TV did a show about Safe Haven laws, and she was working for a pro-life agency at the time and was interviewed about this. She was opposed to the concept. Figures. Good grief, potentially restricting access to birth control is going to make all those problems worse! :mad: ---

Usually it’s what these religious types preach to the unmarried. I’m pretty sure abstinence actually does work and prevents pregnancy. ---

The Republicans have been doing this sort of thing for years; since Bush II at least. They want to destroy the government and hate helping people in any way, so they appoint people to positions of authority who are opposed to the functions of that authority. Like putting someone who thinks AIDS can be cured by prayer to handle AIDS. ---
