So the new season is almost upon us. Let’s discuss! What new shows do you plan to sample? What returning shows are you looking forward to? Any shows you plan on giving up on even though they are coming back? Or maybe jumping back in on a show? Personally I have found I watch less and less TV every year but there are still shows I am looking forward to. New shows that I am going to try include Supergirl, The Muppets and the reboot of Heroes. On Streaming I am looking forward to The Man in the High Castle on Amazon Prime. As for Returning shows, I really hope Blackish keeps up the quality and doesn’t hit a sophomore slump. That show started as something I half watched to being something I looked forward to. It was really funny. The only show I can think of off hand I am cutting is The Amazing Race but I had cut that show once before and then jumped back in. I found the match making season boring and lame and didn’t make it too the end. So what say you? ---

Huh, I guess I watch so little (prime-time) TV nowadays that I haven’t even been seeing the promos for the new shows. I kind of blame the internet, but lately I can’t even maintain attention long enough to get through a full hour show. The trailer for Supergirl looked moderately interesting. So maybe that? Everything from last year fell victim to the “I don’t want to watch this until I’m sure they won’t cancel it on me” curse. ---

The Muppets and Jessica Jones for sure. Ones I will be trying out are Dr. Ken, The Grinder and Rosewood. Looking forward to the return of all my shows…which is a lot. Apparently Peep Show is coming back late in the year and I can’t WAIT for that!! ---

I hope Heroes actually has some direction this time. First time around it kept seeming like they were building to something, but never managed to actually get there. I know what you mean, I didn’t even realize Heroes was actually coming back (I’d heard something about that but it was like back when 24 was coming back, and I assumed it had fallen through or something) until I went to watch a movie on OnDemand a week or so ago and while I was looking through the lists (takes forever) they had a preview of it (and other new fall shows). Hell, I didn’t even know that South Park apparently came back this past Wednesday, and thus missed it. Seriously CC, you might want to let people know when the show comes back. It’s long enough between seasons, brah, with nowhere near enough eps, so missing one is like missing a month or two of normal shows. ---

I’m looking forward to Season 4 of the _The Americans_. The daughter not only found out that her parents are Soviets, but told her pastor! What are they going to do? I’ll watch the first few episodes of _American Horror Story_, if only because Sarah Paulson is so purty. Also, Season 2 of AHS had some of my favorite moments of any television series ever. ---
