# New user registration - same PC, differrnt person?

When I vist SDMB, of course it recognises that I have already registered. Question is, please, how would I go about letting a different person register from this same computer?

On the bottom right of the main board page there’s a log off option. Log off and then click “register” to get someone else on.

Many thanks, Andygirl. I knew there had to be a simple answer, but I’m in a state of teeth-gnashing fury re. bad ISP connections, which doesn’t do much for clear thinking! Thanks for taking time to reply to a sily question. (Can I get this posted before I get cut off again? Ooh, the suspense!

The process is pretty easy… my wife ( **jdimbert** ) and I both post from her computer at home. You just need to be careful to check those boxes on the Submit Post page to make sure that your browser has “Auto-Filled” them with the correct info. If not, then you will post as someone else, technically violating the TOS.
Then, according to logic currently floating around in the Pit, **Tuba** would be forced to come to your house and kill you. 😉

Just be sure that each of you formally log off the board at the end of your reading/writing session and it’ll all be copacetic.

Be careful though. I have accidentally posted with my husband’s username. He hardly ever signs on and I had learned to trust my cookies.
