Nice! TIL the mathematical concept of “viewpoint invariance under new information”, hitherto also known as “immunity to evidence”. It’s no joke – among the evidence that MAGAts are immune to is the sheer stupidity of their tribe: not one of them that I’ve ever seen interviewed can ever answer factual questions about political events or even about the basic structure of government that has existed for hundred of years. To them, ignorance is a virtue: where there is no cognition, there can be no cognitive dissonance, and the world is a stress-free beautiful place where they’re always right. ---

I used to do that to confirm it had a charge. It felt weird but was harmless. Now I use an actual battery tester. ---

You may scoff, but between 2012 and 2017 there was an average of 53 shark attacks in the US per year.
