I’m kind of disappointed at the poor quality of this troll. Whatever happened to the Starving Artist type, who could burble on and on about how much better the good old days were (especially with [those paper towel tubes](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/its-time-to-officially-pit-joe-paterno-and-the-penn-state-football-program/602167/2441)) and generate multi-hundred-post threads doing battle with him? Every time I see something like the OP I wonder if even _they_ believe what they’re posting. With a likely one-and-done as mentioned, I doubt it. Oh, not in general, but a fact free appeal to emotion, full of insults and put downs, and a refusal to accept any source they don’t approve? Nah, that’s someone trying to pwn some libs, rather than a true believer in anything. IE Trolling using Trump, rather than a Trumper wanting to preach to the heathens. A small, and possibly negligible difference, but one that causes me to have _even less respect_ for them as it were. ---
