I just joined a songwriter’s forum, which had a thread asking for new lyrics for the Cole Porter classic “Let’s Do It, Let’s Fall In Love” ([here](http://www.musesmuse.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=40964&st=0&gopid=459412&#entry459412)). It was a lot of fun trying to come up with a verse, and I’d love to see what versions Dopers could come up with. If you don’t know the song, it was an early “list” song that catalogued various groups who “do it”…“it,” of course, meaning “falling in love.” 😉 If you don’t know it, you can familiarize yourself with the song [here](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epvMcV81fCs) or [here](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCJu4LtybE8). Well, here’s what I’ve been able to come up with so far (tougher than it looks…!!): \*\*At midnight ghosts, ‘neath their sheets do it Kids demanding trick or treats do it Let’s do it, let’s fall in love Witches who ride ‘round on brooms do it Zombies locked up in their tombs do it Let’s do it, let’s fall in love Bram Stoker’s ghoul, it is writ, did it As he flew around town Stephen King’s “It” did it – Not too bad for a clown! Werewolves who HOOOWL at the moon do it Kinda makin’ virgins want to swoon to it So let’s do it, let’s fall in love!\*\* ---
