Or if you kill them in the opposite order, you have to go back and kill the magician dude again - at that point, he will call for his master, and Thyrm will show up and try to kill you. ---

It’s even more confusing, because you _don’t_ want to kill the Thrym who walks up and down the path in Zul’Drak (the one that’s always there). The quest spawns its own version of Thrym, and that’s the one you have to kill. It’s a horribly designed quest. I hate it. I don’t think I’ve ever managed to finish it successfully. ---

Well, I’m back. (and my computer) Last night I did the weekly, the daily frost run and took out Ragnaros in the Molten Core for throw-back points. Need to fine tune the game and start taking macros a little more seriously and I should be helpful again. ---

Yeah, the dumb names kind of annoy me, too. I mean, puns are fine, but netspeak in names makes me cringe a bit. That being said, one of my friends changed the name of his female space goat when he got the exploration achievement. His name? Intemet the Explorer. He’s kind of awesome :). ---

On the subject of reporting names: I’m seriously pissed off that someone reported \ on Stormrage (Alliance). It was one of my favorite guild names ever. I look at Arthas as being WoW’s Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. While still a paladin/Jedi, they came under demonic/Dark Side influence, and gradually became evil, all the while believing they were just doing what they needed to serve the greater good. Using completely the wrong word, using words that don’t mean what the writer apparently thought they mean. In the BDL raid thread, I stated my intention to start ramping up my playtime on Nahren, my Druid, again, and to run at least one random dungeon a day to build up badges. Immediately after, I’m completely unable to do that. :smack: Last night (Tuesday) I got home late from work and had barely enough time to grab some food before my ICC 10-man started. Tonight, when a few people didn’t show for the continuation of the 10-man, we got some people together for an 8-man Naxx. In less than 4 hours we curbstomped all four wings plus KT. We didn’t get The Undying (no deaths on bosses); we had at least one death on most bosses, and we wiped about four or five times on KT when we attempted to get Just Can’t Get Enough (kill KT after killing 18 Abominations). Once we gave up on that, we pulled together and busted through KT to earn The Dedicated Few (kill all bosses except 4 Horsemen with less than 9 people). Even though The Dedicated Few doesn’t require the 4 Horsemen, we still tackled them for the raid achievement. Despite losing half our team, we still managed to kill them on the first try. We got Arachnophobia by clearing the entire Arachnid Quarter in less than 20 minutes (it was more like 15) and The Hundred Club by not turning on Frost Resist Aura against Sapphiron. Even in ICC gear, Naxx is still challenging enough that parts of it still felt like an at-level or just-below experience, especially at KT. The loss of 2 players is extremely noticeable; the gap between Naxx gear and ICC gear is smaller than the gap between 8 people and 10 people. It was very satisfying to accomplish that, and a lot of fun. And then tomorrow is my ICC 25-man, so once again I may well not have enough time to log on Nahren. ☹ Contemplating sitting it out; I’ve been raiding a hell of a lot more than I expected to be already. ---
