You spawn on the party leader when you re-enter, as if you had just joined the group. Or it’ll start you at Mara Pristine Waters instead of whatever the portal is. That ain’t really clear at all. ---

You may want to revisit that frost mage. Frost is fun now. Perma-pet, big crits, decent damage even for raiding, at least below ICC. ---

Logged in too late to fight the elementals in Org/TB, but managed to queue for the Flamelord and kill him. When we were done the RDF no longer had the new bosses available, so I guess I just made the window and will have a wait a couple of hours now. ---

Oh man, the Elemental event was awesome! This is my first expansion pack launch, so all this stuff is so great to me. I got disconnected like 5 times but it was just insane! It was also my first raid group, lol. So much fun. I laughed when someone came in and was totally WTF and someone answered Stormwind was now Dalaran South. ---

Gah, just attempted the elementals in SW … can you say “10 seconds between hitting my hotkey and the relevant ability going off”? I knew you could. 63ms latency, 10-second lag. ---

I wouldn’t worry too much about the elementals, just get those bosses dead as much as you can. ---

After tonight’s ICC25 didn’t happen due to no-shows, we did the city defenses and elemental bosses. And then someone said, hey, how about we take anyone who’s willing and go try to 10-man our raid lockout? You can all call me “Kingslayer” now. 😃 It was rough. We wiped in the Val’kyr phase the first four tries, then we had the offtank die on Shambling Horrors in early phase one to a bad dispel. We didn’t wipe, kept going with it, lost no one to Val’kyr, did Raging Spirits perfectly, dodged the Vile Spirits. Lost a healer to Frostmourne with 15% left, tank starts dropping like a sack of bricks from Arthas’ buff + lack of healer. Tank drops, then LK turns and rest of raid drops. I literally let out with a “OH FUUUUuuuh…wait, was that Fury?” on vent. =P ---

After every elemental attack, you have about an hour to queue for as many of them as you can. First time for each one, you can grab a quest at zone in, turn in in SW(air, water) or IF(fire, earth) after the kill for gold. If you miss the quest before the fight starts, you can grab it after the kill and queue again immediately. Excellent loot drops, but there is only 1 item per kill, so 80% of the group gets nothing. My druid got a major upgrade to his boots, also got a nice chest/back/neck for off spec. Hardest fight is probably the water guy..Ghazilla or something like that. Air guy has an annoying stun. Earth and fire guys are easy-peasy. Just queue up dps, and when the fight starts, unleash Hell. Do not be shy about rolling need on anything you will wear. This is your last best chance to gear up for free before Cata drops. ETA: \*\* Grats Zeriel!\*\* ---

Grats **Zeriel** So after my complaints regarding a dull elemental invasion yesterday last night I was blown away by the chaos and confusion in Stormwind as I log on, quality Blizzard. I also like that the encounters are hard and no one knows quite what is going on – a bear tank last night, who had a gear score about double mine and Kingslayer, was unsure and tentative as we fought the bosses, great to see and finally some content that was a complete surprise to me. Worth the repair bills. My lock is beginning to top the damage meters in BGs after a couple of gear upgrades, everything is OK as long as I am in meta and/or no one is hitting me… seriously rogues are a locks nightmare, after death coil and axe toss if the rogue isn’t dead I am. I was going to roll a worgen mage but now seriously considering a rogue instead just for pvp, it looks a lot of fun. ---

Killing the elementals was fun at first, but that stage went on for far too long, with no real challenge. The four mini raids were good, quite tough with no-one being familiar with them. Managed to get through all of them without any wipes, but only just. Had to hit the emergency lay on hands button a couple times, and take over the tank healing once when the healer ran out of mana. Kept re-queuing for a long as possible for kit, and managed to catch a few more later in the evening. How long will this stage run for, will there be repeats tonight? I only managed to pick up one item, a good necklace upgrade. Also managed to get a bronze dragon mount from a random heroic dungeon.
