SQUEE!!! So I’ve vaguely referred to my poor laptop with the dying screen that has been been rapidly accelerating towards its death this past week, so I ordered a new laptop and it ships today! And it has a dedicated video card! I mean, I know it’s still a laptop card, but seeing as I was running the game on a laptop from 2006 with integrated graphics, I’m excited to see any improvements. I’ve taken a break from the game for the last few days for more fandom-ish things, including indulging in Illidan/Kael, Arthas/Jaina and Kael/Jaina fan fic. Shut up, I’m a shameless shipper. 😃 ---

I got two of those driveby guild invites last night from the same guild. Probably from the same guy. Happened in the space of 10 minutes or so. I’m not particularly interested in doing guild stuff at the moment. When I do decide to join a guild\*, it’s definitely not going to be one that spams invites at random people. \*Actually, unless they purged the roster of inactive toons, I still have a druid in BDL, and may have tagged a DK for them as well. Burning Dog Legion will likely become the focus of my guilding activity, when I get around to it. ---

Varian only looks racist if you don’t know what’s been going on–which isn’t surprising, because a lot of that backstory happened outside the game (stupid decision on Blizz’s part, IMO). Thrall is “tolerant,” I guess, in the sense that he personally doesn’t want to kill everybody in the Alliance. But he does absolutely nothing to rein in those who do. He drags Garrosh around like a safety blanket and lets him mouth off to everybody; he lets for Forsaken do pretty much whatever they want, up to the point that they actually killed a shit-ton of people, and even then all he did was put some extra guards in UC; and he continues to honor leaders of the “Old” Horde. ---

[spoiler]In which case, why not level things upwards by promoting Tyrion Fordragon (the only other major character in the game who is neither thick (Cairne), a weenie (Jaina!!!), or a jerk (most of the rest)) to leader of the Alliance? I guess that would leave open the question of why the two non-douchebaggy leaders don’t just make peace already, but damn. (Also, I’d say the Blood Elves are pretty dubious morally, as well, on the Horde side.)[/spoiler] ---

Since I assume you already have an account, they should also already have your CC information on file, unless you’ve been paying with prepaid game cards. ---

Anytime I’ve bought anything from the Blizzard store or taken advantage of any paid services (server transfers and race changes), I’ve \*always \*had to re-enter my CC information, and I have automatic monthly billing set up, so they definitely have it on file. ---

Strange. When I just did my walk-thru, all the information was already there. Had I been going all the way through I would have needed to confirm it, but no reenter it.
