Pop out, go to an inn, pop back. Actually, seeing that he was in QD, it’s even worse, all he needed to do was stop at the inn on the way to the instance. What’s more likely is that he never bothered get a second pet, the last time I told a level 80 hunter that “you can have more than one pet” was this same week. I’d popped in with my Croc out, switched to the wolf, the other hunter went “wait a minute, didn’t you have a hydra?” “well, it’s actually a croc, but yeah, I just swapped pets” “uh?” I love playing a hunter, but damnit we DO get some braindead peeps! _raises hand_ another one for the fanfic please line. Sometimes that’s better written than the official stories… ---

I have to agree with this as I take my lock through the WOTLK dungeons I am seeing a lot of hunters many of them bad. I’ll also add whiny to it too - last night I was in a group of myself and two hunters in Azjol-Nerub and one of the hunters was doing very poor DPS from the off. For the rest of the run the healer and other hunter moaned about this and even tried to kick (I refused and obviously so did our tank) after the first boss even though we got through without any trouble. If the mobs are dying what’s the problem? Hell my dps was about 20% more than the moaning hunter (heirlooms helped here obviously) but no complaints from me. Why are cloth helms so terrible looking in WOTLK? I haven’t found one I have liked the look of yet. All I want is a hood that covers the whole head and shrouds her in a bit of evil looking secrecy. ---

I met a lvl 80 hunter in one of the ICC heroic dungeons who was complaining about being low mana, and even sat down to drink. :smack: I restrained myself from commenting further than “Aspect of the Viper! :D” when he complained at one point. I mean, seriously, my hunter will swap to Viper during long boss fights if need be, and swap right back when full up. I use Viper Notify to ding at me when I’m nearly full, as a reminder. ---

I liked the priest hood – I think it was the 245 off-tier maybe? – anyway, the one that was more of a big collar with a medallion hanging down. It exposed my big, bald, rotting head it all it’s glory. The T10 cloth head isn’t bad though. ---

Not to mention, you’re probably halfway across the zone for a reason, and it can be a pain in the ass to get back there again. The shoulders on my Warrior clip through my face on a lot of my animations–and have for all of my tier gear in Wrath, IIRC (and I’ve had all four tiers). ---

At one point he was wondering if he should take a drop that was mail with a bunch of spellpower and MP5. But, at least he was asking. I forgot to check if he was in a guild or anything. ---

Ironforgers stand on those grates and poop into the lava. Exodarans have high-technology toilets that teleport the poop out of them into the ocean. Darnassians poop, but it’s okay to just leave around…their shit don’t stink. Orgrimmar’s already messy enough that nobody notices the poop. Thunder Bluffers are a bunch of cows…they just poop over the side of the cliff and the stuff on the ground grows better. Undead don’t poop, although I don’t really want to know what’s in those canals. Blood Elves are elves…see Darnassians above. Goblins probably use their poop to fuel their gadgets. Worgen just go to the park. ---

I’m not Alliance, so I haven’t had the “fun” of doing that particular quest, but I’ve heard about it. :rolleyes: ---
