The SDMB is apparently so small on that map we don’t even merit a mention. Even the measly, barely there [datalounge forum](http://www.datalounge.com/cgi-bin/iowa/ajax.html#page:listThreads,all,byLastPostDate,1) dwarfs us. ---

Even in expanded view it was hard for me to read some of the smaller print. Is there a Lost Valley (or (Island) of dialup BBS users, or has that vanished from the ken of man altogether? (or would that be part of the Charred Wasteland of Abandoned Social Networks?) ETA: duh, that wouldn’t be the Internet :smack: ---

I haven’t kept up with the news blogs, but I think folks fled /. for Digg, and are now fleeing Digg for Reddit (hence the lifeboats). My favorite part of the map is the little invasion fleet coming out of Google Talk and heading for Skype. It’s so tiny and yet so ominous. ---

Along the left edge, bottom third, is an island that is the exact shape of Celebes (now Sulawesi). Whsat word is printed in there?
