Huh. This site shows the A1 [https://www.reliableparts.ca/lookup/324734/2373861](https://www.reliableparts.ca/lookup/324734/2373861) The Frigidaire site shows this model as FDPC4221AS - I’ve found that the last few digits in a model refer to minor variations, such as trim level such as stainless steel vs white, or perhaps another minor difference. Most parts will be interchangeable. Of course, that’s a Canadian site, so the usual cautions apply 😀 Heck, maybe the A1 is the Canadian model. Or a model for a certain retailer, such as Best Buy or Home Depot. ---

That looks like my Dishwasher and it looks like the right part. Of course, the part I bought looked right too. And I bought it at Best Buy (the dishwasher not the part). I might try to buy it on the site you linked if I can’t find it elsewhere. Thanks! ---

My apologies. I thought your post reflected regret at being limited in your choices by an arbitrary convention, and my intention was to remind you, in a tone of hearty camaraderie and goodwill, that you are not bound by it. Whether through my choice of vocabulary, a misplaced assumption of the level of familiarity my status as a fellow Doper entitled me to in your eyes, or some other factor, I failed to achieve my goal.
