Why not? 911 is not appropriate. They are voters, they are taxpayers and they are targets. There are- **Suicide & Crisis Lifeline** **National Human Trafficking Hotline** : **National Teen Dating Abuse Helpline** **The Trevor Project Helpline** **California Peer-Run Warm Line** **National Runaway Safeline** : and many, many more. ---

I don’t begrudge them a dedicated hotline, since they sit in unique peril. But I’d love if the voice on the other end of the line started with “please listen carefully as our menu options have changed…” ---
