# New York Times : Trump lies at least daily, in public, about clearly verifiable facts

I even just recently called him on it in a thread. His response was a bunch of snark without refuting it.

I’m flattered that I’m getting through to him so much that he’s putting me on ignore rather than rebut me. I mean, I’ve been a direct asshole to him many, many times. But it’s only now that he puts me on ignore? He’s not doing it because I’m an asshole, but because he can’t refute what I’m saying.

I honestly don’t think he even knew what was wrong with **Snowboarder Bo** ’s argument. How hard would it have been to say “By passed I meant became a law. I acknowledge the House has passed a law.” Instead, he called him stupid and begged other people to explain it for him.

All I was doing was trying to drive home a point I’ve made many, many times before. You are under no obligation to defend someone, and if something is okay when you do it, you can’t complain when other people do it to you.

I’d hoped he’d learn to stop doing it. I actually wanted to make him a stronger arguer/debater. You know, the thing he said he comes to this board for.

I just hope that the fact that he put me on ignore means I finally got my point across.
