Just today I was reading [this](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=180666) thread and I was struck by **bo989** ’s clear and well thought out posts, plus his cool manner in not getting uptight about some posts (not that there was necessarily reason for him to, but I can easily see someone looking to be offended would be, well, offended.) Dunno why I thought he was a newbie at the time; now that I look back I see he joined in Feb, which still makes him a newbie of sorts, though not as new as I had first thought. ---

I’m really enjoying \*\* DeVena’s\*\* posts. She had me laughing at her matter-of-fact response to the “what would you do when approached in a dark alley” thread and since then when I’ve run across her posts I’ve read them with relish. She seems like someone I would enjoy spending time with. ---

Seconding most of the others (I don’t go into GD enough to ahve noticed Priam), but someone who’s impressed me since I started reading his posts is **Mtgman**. He’s got the eloquence of **tomndebb** and the command of logic and facts of the same. He also seems to be equally adept and handling both flaming and being flamed, which on this board is rather a must. **Aslan2** , for his part, seems to have the aloof wit of a young **jarbabyj** (albeit with less cocksockets and twatwrenches;)). His ability to combine this with a fresh (yet aged) sense of humor make reading his posts a lot of fun. And anyone who makes a reference to CS Lewis is okay in my book:D ---
