Ni No Kuni has Studio Ghibli art direction, and is a pretty good monster-collecting JRPG. The second one isn’t so good, but the art style is similar (but not Studio Ghibli).
I’ve played all of the Dishonored games. Environment-wise, it does have a sort of “living painting” look, which I like. The characters are not at all like “animated movie” characters though. Cool games. I also have played Prey too.
I realize this is a tall order. It would not occur to most developers to use that type of art direction for shooting games.
And on top of that, Elizabeth is the ONLY character in the game that really looks like that. It seems pretty obvious, looking at the evolution of the game, that they made pretty generic looking NPCs and then evolved Elizabeth into what she looks like now, all the way to the last minute. In the earliest demos she decidedly did not look a Disney princess.
