# News for both Better Off Ted fans out there

I happened to be flipping past whatever station it’s on, and they were advertising that they’re going to be showing new episodes this summer, Tuesday evenings. Spread the word, and let’s see if we can hit ten viewers!

Last night’s episode was one of the best ones. It was the one entitled “Racial Sensitivity” and it was about the company’s installation of motion sensors that could not see black people, and therefore shut off the lights when they were the only ones in the room (or would not open doors for them).

I think they went with the “Racial Sensitivity” episode last night as an appetizer for new viewers: show your best and have them come back next week. I don’t usually watch reruns, but that was worth it.

I made it a point to watch the first episode, and liked it. I meant to keep watching it, but I never remembered. If you guys can manage to start these **Better Off Ted** threads _before_ it’s on, instead of the next day, I’d like to be one of **the ten**.

I saw a few eps over the past few days, and… I’m kinda ‘meh’ about it. I mean, the one-liners are very clever, and the cast is snappy, but… I dunno. Feels too full of SitCom cliches. I involuntarilly rolled my eyes at the (several) concocted reasons why the romantic couple can’t get together, especially the ‘characters can’t tell each other the truth’ moment at the end of the episode in which Ted brings his daughter to work.
This being said, I’ll watch if it’s on, but I’m doubting I’ll go out-of-my-way for it.

Did you see the racial sensitivity episode? One of the best episodes of television this year IMHO.

Woo! Such a funny show. ‘Racial Sensitivity’ is def. the best of the first season, too. I was utterly surprised when it got renewed.
Ted and Linda is totally corny but I like it anyway, the actors have good chemistry together.

Thanks. During the summer the schedules are messed up, so I usually check every night, but I do want to record this, so I’m glad you reminded us.
