I went online Wednesday night to my local gannett paper to place ad to sell my car. The earliest they could publish my ad was Sundays paper. And there wasn’t an option to publish on the weekend. Either a week or nothing. And don’t get me started on the cost. I have little doubt why newspapers are going broke. No flexibility or timeliness. [Cars.com](http://Cars.com) and autotrader are my next options once I get back from vacation. Any other free or cheap ad sites? ---

If they publish classifieds every day, this would be pretty unusual. We only publish ours on Fri-Sat-Sun, but if you placed your ad on Wednesday night we could certainly get you in on Saturday. And the online version would start right away. Don’t they have an online version? Roddy
