Yesterday in Cologne the Pope confirmed Sydney as the [site of the next World Youth Day in 2008.](http://www.news.com.au/story/0,10117,16338222-28698,00.html) I don’t know how widely the “youth” definition can be stretched but that’s one Mass I certainly intend to be at. ---

Congratulations. I lived in Denver Colorado several years ago when they held one there - it was a huge and apparently successful event. I’m neither Catholic nor young, so it holds no appeal for me, but I’m glad you’re looking forward to it. ---
