Maybe it’s time for an alternate Food TV network. A handful of fresh shows and fill the rest with reruns of classic episodes from Galloping Gourmet, Julia Child, Two Fat Ladies, Justin Wilson, etc ---

I feel sorry for the blonde woman who finished fourth. Her entire shtick is already owned by Rachel Ray, and yet her ambitions are to have a cooking show on TV. She’ll be stuck doing early AM local TV in some podunk market until her cuteness gives way to age. It must be like being the third baseman at the Yankees AAA team. You’ve got no shot at advancing. ---

They’ve already got Malto Mario, Wolfgang Puck’s show, the original Iron Chef, and a few other cooking shows. It’s FN’s sister channel, so it’s not like they have to buy the rights or anything for the shows. I don’t think anybody gives a fuck about the shows that are on FLN now. It could work! ---
