Pope Lando II. (Lando I was 913-914. The name Lando as a Pope name must be revived!) Pope Conon II. (Conon I was 630-687. Not quite as awesome as Lando.) But I really gotta go with **Pope Cletus II**. (Cletus I, 79-92.) ---

What, nobody mentioned Pope Sicola yet? Seriously, I think it’ll be Paul. Pretty much the only name that won’t be considered is Peter; traditionally, only Simon Called Peter, considered the first Pope, can have that name. ---

I think it should be Pope Kickass the First. Since he will likely have to save us from the Zombie Apocalypse. Or he could be Pope Piel and sell us kitchen gadgets and Pocket Fishermen. ---

Perhaps a Latin American: Pope Jesus. As we don’t really have emperors any more, I’d settle for a Pope Fabulous as well. Pope Impius would also be quite good, if perhaps a bit less religiously devoted than one might hope of a pope. ---

Clement XV Clement is a very traditional Pope name, but it’s not something like Boniface that would sound stupid to modern ears. ---
