Hurts looked a little jittery to me in the first quarter. I found myself thinking “Why aren’t they throwing it down the field? I feel like I’m watching Daniel Jones…” The next time they touched the ball was the one play touchdown drive. There’s the Eagles I know and hate. Chiefs still in it thanks to that defensive touchdown. I see it going downhill from here for them, though. ---

Rihanna was super pretty, but totally lip-synching. Why do people fall for that? And Chiefs fans, with your “don’t we sound like Indians?” chant, grow up. Might as well be slapping your mouths going “Woo-woo-woo-woo!” ---

It looked like a good catch to me. But it’s not like I could second guess a referee with access to thirty angles. Glad Mahomes rebounded. Not holding back, either, rushing full tilt when he could have gone out of bounds. I like Rihanna and her music, but did not much like the halftime show. While I am all for female empowerment and general acceptance of anyone, I don’t fully agree with the trend of expunging every element of sensuality from sports. It is not actually wrong to show the cheerleaders from time to time. I could not say why you would dress all the dancers up as Michelin Men. But the music was good enough, I guess. Now waiting to see if they will call incomplete rather than a fumble… ---

The field was … not ideal … from the begining. They show clips of how much difficulties the players have had keeping their footing. ---

Players have been losing their footing and slipping around since the game began. The only thing ruined by halftime was the illusion of live music. ---
