You gotta take that kick in response to the 49ers kick to keep the lead at 17. That would effectively erase the nice drive the 49ers had just had to start the half, which would be demoralizing. Getting stopped there energized the 49ers. ---

Are any other Canadian viewers getting tired of commercial breaks that are nothing but promos for upcoming CTV shows, ads for Crave streaming, and the Expedia woman in the wheelchair and her dog finding a vacation spot? CTV needs to get its sales staff working. I’m not a big fan of commercials, but honestly, I’m at the point where I can accurately predict what’s going to be shown during a commercial break, and in what order. ---

Some times you have to consider if it’s better to play Small Ball to stay ahead that to try and put it away for good.
