Ah, I thought you meant the current format automatically generates a rematch. I think to guarantee one you’d have to have the 17th game be almost random - if it’s not the division-division matchup, you’d have weirdness where you play an out of cycle and out of placement game - instead of playing AFC West 1st place team, you’d be playing AFC North second place, so what does AFC West 1st place do instead?

What that “clarifies” is that she first admitted fabricating comments and when that blew up in her face, denied it ever happened.
This kind of thing apparently used to be commonplace, but in the age of social media scrutiny and omnipresent recording devices, sportswriters and commentators are less likely to get away with it.

My best friend is an Eagles fan, both his Eagles and my 49ers have rematch games this season for all of our respective playoff games last season.

Eagles play the Giants, Niners, and Chiefs.
Niners play the Seahawks, Cowboys, and Niners.
Chiefs also match up with their playoff opponents: Jags, Bengals, Eagles.

I think the Browns have 12 drops today, mostly because whoever this random quarterback is can’t throw on target. They really should’ve signed some kind of vet like Joe Flacco or Matt Ryan or something.

Steelers - Browns living down to my abysmal billing. I’ve seen more passes for negative yardage than I can ever remember. Both QBs on short leashes. How does Pittsburg do it. Nothing in the first half, then a 70+ yard TD run to open the second. Brown QB has only managed one interception this time - progress!! The betting under is secure.

I’ve said it before, but I’m consistently surprised just how little resources go into backup QBs in todays NFL.
