Just want to not-so-stealth brag that Iā€™ll be going to the Eagles/Patriots game this Sunday. In full Eagles regalia. Iā€™m looking forward to the Eagles defense embarrassing Belichick & Oā€™Brien. Thereā€™s going to be some kind of tribute to Tom Brady at halftime as well. Hopefully by then the score will be lopsided enough that the Pats fans will be chanting for Tomā€™s return to the field. It is kind of odd that theyā€™re having the tribute during a game against one of the 2 teams that beat Brady in the Super Bowl, but I assume the day was planned before the schedule was released. ---

LIONS TO WIN SUPER BOWL LVIII!! YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST!!! Why no, I havenā€™t been drinking yet. Itā€™s not even 10 am. Why do you ask? But seriously, setting the Lions up in the nationally televised Thursday night opener against the defending Super Bowl champs feels like, a kid who is typically a bad swimmer manages to get good enough to swim a few laps in the pool without stopping, so you take him a mile out into the ocean, throw him in, and say ā€œsee ya back at shore!ā€. I hope the Lions donā€™t embarrass themselves, or worse yet with their luck, have a season-ending injury to a key guy right out of the gate.
