Ravens getting screwed by the refs swallowing the whistle in overtime, not calling a clear and obvious DPI on 4th and 3. Colts now driving, approaching field goal range with under 3 minutes left in OT. ---

There are now a total of four NFL games (in the entire history of the league) where one team has scored 70 or more points. Interestingly, Washington has been involved in three of these games: They lose today 70-20 versus the Dolphins. They lost the 1940 NFL Championship game 73-0 to the Bears (the most points given up, largest margin of victory and worst shutout in NFL history). They beat the Giants 72-41 in 1966, the highest combined scoring game in NFL history. ---

A Tua concussion looks like the only thing that can slow down the Dolphins at this point. But the Broncos run defense was responsible for today - they gave up 8 touchdowns to a journeyman RB and a rookie. With the best will in the world, Mostert/Achane is not exactly Fred Taylor/MJD. ---

Browns D have allowed 1 TD in 3 games. Other TDs scored in week 2 were defensive touchdowns by the other team. Allowed 94 yards total to the Titans. Sean Payton blames Russell Wilson for the Broncos’ woes, despite nearly tying the game last week in a miracle play and overall putting up decent points. This week they allow 70 points. I’m curious how he is able to blame Wilson for that. ---

A few more notes on Miami’s offensive explosion today: - The first team to score 70+ points in a game since the then-Redskins scored 72 in 1966. - The first team ever to score five rushing TDs, and five passing TDs, in the same game. - The first team since 1951 to gain 700+ yards of offense in a game. ---
