I went by [this Sporting News article.](https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/daniel-jones-nicknames-danny-dimes-vanilla-vick-giants/wclc4v9o3zqlrffs8hkp0m7g)  
I also had not heard his nickname “Vanilla Vick” until reading it.
