I hope the Giants don’t rush him out there because of fan and media pressure. With Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston they have 2 serviceable QB’s. I hope they make sure the O-line is at least decent before they throw him out there.
Tommy DeVito is a fun story, but at no point was he considered the future QB.

Indy’s so down on Anthony Richardson that, not only is he not the opening day QB, he’s not even playing in the final preseason game. Officially, it’s to “prevent injury,” but I don’t buy it.

There’s been nothing I’ve seen since before they drafted Richardson that made me believe he was a good pick for them. I’ve said repeatedly in this forum that they should never have drafted him, and that it was a big mistake on their part.

Bengals handle the Trey Hendrickson situation in the most Bengals way possible. Appeased him with $14 million more this year, and he’s still a UFA next summer. If they collapse early, they can trade him for assets at the deadline, and still have a shot at getting him right back.
And the Brownies deal Wilson (Kenny) Pickett to the Oakland Raiders for a 2025 5th rd. pick. Raiders were suddenly needy when Aidan O’Connell fractured his right wrist. Pickett will be a backup to Geno Smith - his name on the infamous shirt is up for debate as he did not start a regular season game for the Browns - yet!
