Just heard that the Vikings brought in General Larry Pratt to give them a personal, live performance of “Pants on the Ground.” He will be on the sidelines during the game. I don’t see how the Saints are going to have any kryptonite for that. ---

It was closer than I thought it was going to be, but the Colts get the win. Manning solidifies his reputation as one of the greatest QBs ever, and Pierre Garcon having an outstanding game is a nice little story for Haiti. I feel bad for Revis, who is a rare talent. He shut down yet another top flight receiver, but the secondary still gave up 350+ yards through the air to the other receivers. I still don’t know what to think of Sanchez, who wavered between making great throws to some pretty poor decision making on others. It will be interesting to see how he’ll develop. Well, it WOULD be interesting if I gave a shit about the JETS. ---

Jets had a good run. Sanchez made some rookie mistakes today, and was lucky he didn’t give up a pick-6 on at least one of those ducks he lobbed across the field. Still, he had a great year, and will be better next year. The Colts did what they had to do. Solid defense in the second half, solved the blitz with half time adjustments, and hung 30 on the Jets. Main event is next. **GEAUX SAINTS!** ---
