New Orleans - This is the toughest one and probably the best game to watch this week. I just think Drew Brees will out perform Keenum.

Falcons (I think the Eagles are just that bad with Foles at the helm, and the ATL defense has overachieved recently and will likely continue to do so.)
Pats (duh.)
Steelers
Definitely the hardest to call, but I’ll go with the Minny D at home. Vikes.

Do you mean the first down play or the fourth down play? Because I thought the first down mugging was more egregious than the fourth down mugging, as mugging go.

Patriots now trying out a new rule where a patriots runner can get up after he’s down by contact, as long as he runs into the end zone. Local Refs agree, but someone forgot to tell New York.

I meant the 4th down play, but the 1st down one was bad too.

How about the ticky-tack call of Decker for PI? I guess you let ‘em play unless it’s in the Pats’ favor.

I knew someone would assume that. I couldn’t care less who won that game, nor is my world going to end if I got a pick wrong. I know what I saw, and I spoke it that way.
Did you happen to notice that my subsequent note was against the Pats, who I picked?
And now a BS offsides call on a 4th-down play. I wonder how much it cost BB to get the refs in the bag like that.

I’ve been pretty bad at picking them so far: 3-3 record so far.
I thought ATL would beat PHL but credit the Eagles coaching staff for tweaking the playbook to allow Foles to give defenses different kinds of looks. Brilliant coaching job in that respect. On the flip side, I thought ATL’s coaching botched what should have been a TD in the red zone. They’ve had an entire season to work on Red Zone problems and they just never got better. Firing last year’s OC was the emotional decision but perhaps not the best decision.
In other news, the Patriots continue to be the safest bet in the NFL’s first two rounds. It will be interesting to see how they handle either Pittsburgh or Jacksonville next week. The Pats should fear the Steelers overall offensive attack but the Jags would pose problems of their own, too, including a strong defensive line.
I’m gonna pick Pittsburgh over Jacksonville, but it could be tight. I’ll pick NO over Minnesota but this one could go either way.

Eagles got a lot of help at the end of that game – pretty blatant pass interference and holding unflagged.
