OK, I suppose this makes me a bad person, but all this forced jingoistic military crap that’s standard operating procedure for sporting events these days turns my stomach. It’s so horribly phony and it’s completely inorganic and out of place. It almost insults the intelligence of the American viewer. ETA: LOLOLOLOLOL Carroll strikes again. Nice work dipshit. ---

I can see how the military type would be a big consumer of the NFL brand. I let it slide because generally I can fast forward through it. No worse than seeing pink uniforms for a month. ---

I’m sure this is confirmation bias but I swear every draft the commercial breaks and cut away interviews are always right when the Bears are drafting, as if no one from Chicago watches this thing. Oh yeah, I forgot, this is the part of the draft where Lovie picks redundant safeties with durability concerns. I think I like Hardin and it’s probably the end of Major Wright, but I’m more more worried about the CB position. And there goes Fleming. Son of a bitch. ---

After watching the Bears’ draft party at Soldier Field, I never, ever want to hear a Bears fans referring to Packers fans as fat or unattractive. Heh, some guy I never heard of who has an injury ridden career. Thanks Bears. ---
