# NFL Draft without a CBA

How can the NFL conduct the draft if the CBA expires?

The draft is simply calling dibs on newly-eligible players. Those players chosen and their respective teams will have to wait until a new deal is in place to sign actual contracts. New players will be locked out just like everybody else.
