Denver has two first round picks. They’d have the most to force the trade. Um. What? Is this thing on? Donte Whitner? Bueller? Bueller? I am now excited. I’ve got NO clue what’s going on. The Lions are in the drivers’ seat now. Here’s the Harrington trade we’re all heard about. ---

Whoa!!! Thought he was a shot at #26 for the Bears. Whitner is a stud, I like him a lot, and I would have killed to see him as the Bears Free Saftey. Still, I can’t believe the Bills didn’t trade down if he’s who they were targeting. Whitner would have been there with the probably the Vikings and Broncos #1 picks. They could have likely added a 2nd rounder and still gotten him. Vintage Jauron fucking things up. Wonder if Levy knows how this new fangled NFL works. ---

Leinart should feel really good about this spot. With those QBs and Warner in front of him, he’s in a perfect situation to succeed. Chances are he’ll play this year due to a Warner injury but he won’t have to be the day one starter. Probably couldn’t have panned out better for both the Cards and Matt. ---

I was just about to type ths post out, word for word. We COULD have waited until the second or third and taken Nicholson from FSU as well. This feels like a conspiracy. Apparently, nobody wanted to trade for Buffalo or Detroit’s picks. That’s the ONLY resaon I can get for this all playing out the way it did. Buffalo and Detroit could have traded down and got the same people, but they didn’t/couldn’t. Gr. how long does it take for this cyanide to work? ---

Dude, you have Denny Green running the show. There was no way he was going to pass up Leinart. Maybe the honeymoon isn’t quite over yet, but at some point you’re going to realize the Denny takes the best offensive talent first. Period. If it was a choice between Williams, Hawk and Leinart, Leinart would have been taken. It’s a given with Denny. ---
