Javon Walker got traded to Denver as we all expected. I think it’s a relatively fair price, although he did suffer a pretty serious injury. Jimmy Williams goes to the Falcons. Good pick. Between him and Deangelo Hall, their corners are young and sound. ---

Javon Walker is now a Denver Bronco. Atlanta ended up with the pick (what was it, DEN to GB to ATL?) and got Jimmy Williams. ---

I’m so lost right now. The only thing encouraging me to hang on to the last string of sanity is Thompson’s knack for judging talent in a draft. I still think there are some gems left, and trust him to know whom they may be. I’m so ready for September. I’d almost entertain a proposal to make games be played every other week so we can have year-round football. ---

There are MANY gems left, I feel. For example, I feel STRONGLY about Omar Jacobs. Marcus Vick has talent and things that cannot be taught and will get the chance to succeed because of that. I believe he can succeed if he isn’t too much of a headcase. The reciever from Arizona State should be worth more than the spot in which he was taken. Hagans, I believe his name is. I love me some draft day. When does the new Madden game come out? ---
