Just watched NFL Network’s program about the first Super Bowl and got to wondering if any other single game had so many future Hall of Fame members involved. Both head coaches, four Kansas City players and nine Green Bay players. With free agency and close to double the number of teams can any two teams keep that many players of that caliber on the payroll at the same time?

On a side note, anyone else think Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt looked like Les Nesmen?

That had just 15.

Super Bowl IX had 19, including 2 Rooneys listed with the Steelers. So did Super Bowl XIII.

Super Bowls VI and X had 18 such participants.
