That was intentional and not a mistake. Feel free to throw logic out the window whenever you’re assessing my Giants picks 😁 If you’re curious about some of the (minimal) thought that went into this specific pick the Giants looked about as bad we expected but they could’ve won against WFT and ATL (no chance against the Broncos). The Saints dominated a Packers team that looked like they were sleepwalking, lost to a Panthers team that was able to take advantage of standard Winston mistakes, and beat a Pats team that gave away three INTs (one for a pick 6). I usually start with the straight up picks and then I import those to the other two before making some tweaks. In some weeks I will pick something different in Confidence if I feel good about my chances for some upset points. I haven’t pulled the numbers but I do know that my Confidence picks haven’t always matched my straight up picks since I usually treat these like three (4) completely separate leagues. ---

Almost 50% of yahoo survivors remaining picked Cinci this week. Rarely does one team get such a high pick rate. If they should lose that will be a massive elimination. But I think that’s a pretty easy win for them. ---

Can I just say how insane it is that the leader in the Spread Pick 'em is at 72 wins so far. The next highest has 61. Hell, many professional gamblers would kill for an almost 70% win rate in NFL picks against the spread. Congrats Frosty, you’re doing incredibly. ---

Circumstances make Pittsburgh the obvious pick for me this week. They’re not going to be useful any other week of the year, they’re one of the best matchups of my remaining teams… but… I just don’t feel good about them winning. I think Detroit may steal one. I may have to use TB this week. I was saving them because they have a very favorable schedule at the end of the year and I wanted to keep them for that, but I just don’t like my options this week. I hate picking away teams in survival - watch me use the “safe” pick of TB and have them lose anyway. Surprised we only had 2 people pick Baltimore. This was a difficult week to pick and I would’ve thought more people would pick them. I guess a lot of people used them before this week. ---

It’s a strike. Only a win counts in survival. I feel like a tie should probably get a pass, as it’s not a loss, but I guess that’s just preference. Brutal week - all sorts of favorites lost/tied. Baltimore got 2 of us, Pittsburgh 4, Tampa Bay 2 more. All the teams people won with - Colts, Cowboys, Bills I had already used this season. ---
