Opposing defenses don’t have the film with which to properly game plan, and there are too many unknowns. The following year, these teams come back to reality. That’s part of why next year is going to be so interesting. One year of success like Foles this year might be a fluke. If he can pull off two years of elite QBing the Eagles have a chance to be fun to watch for a few years. They might even figure out how to get lucky and win a playoff game. ---

San Diego just running the ball down the throats of the Bengals. As a fan of football, it’s nice to see the running game being a big part of the game. ---

Are they reviewing the spike? Because that was the last play. I don’t think they can review the catch after a play has already been run. ---

If not for an untimely Giovanni Bernard fumble, it would be 14-7 instead of 10. ---

As as aside: Ric Flair? Really? Is that the best the Niners could do, a guy who played a pretend sport, used performance enhancing drugs, and who can’t handle finances without cheating? Alrighty then. ---
