NFL Predictions 2009: Give Away The Farm

Cutler regrets going to the Bears.
Miami Dolphins win 3. Hey, it’s an improvement.
Green Bay comes dead last in the NFC North.
Al Davis signs Vick. Is eaten by dogs.

The 1st and 3rd points will probably be mutually exclusive. I don’t expect Cutler to get too bummed out regardless of the Bears fates on the field. Chicago is perfect for him and he seems to be eating it up, plus he’s gonna get paid real good in the coming off season.

How many is too many? They’ve got Justin Fargas, who is more of a third-down, pass catcher type, and Michael Bush, who’s more of a between the tackles guy. They dumped LaMont Jordan last offseason.

Fargas just got a big (inexplicable) contract extension, so they’d probably take a big cap hit by cutting or trading him. Bush was a 4th-round pick, but has Pro Bowl potential- and every team thinks they need two backs nowadays. Bush and McFadden could make a pretty good thunder and lightning type rotation.
