If Keyshawn Johnson hasn’t done as well as he should have, it’s because Tampa Bay has under-used him. He caught only one pass against his old team, the Jets. I think King threw to him only three times. You saw what happened Sunday against the Vikings when they made him the focus of their passing game? 6 receptions for 121 yards and a TD. But even though he has been under-used, he still leads the team in receptions and TDs, though Jacquez Green leads in yardage.

Joe Namath did. He saw Daunte play and went on ABC Sports and talked about how great he was _as a junior._
I lived in Orlando when Daunte played for UCF. He brought a former I-AA school to a 9-2 record in his last season and _almost_ to its first bowl game. (They were _this_ close to being selected for the Aloha Bowl, but the selection committee didn’t think they’d draw a big enough TV audience or sell enough tickets. I forget who played in the Aloha Bowl in 1998.) He set NCAA records. And on this [old thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=22308) from last year, I asked when Minnesota would play him, implying that I thought he’d be great.

Disappointments:
Loud-mouthed Bucs
Sleeping Bears
Starting QB – Trent Dilfer
Half the other QBs in the league
Jags, Jags, Jags
Oh, and Milo, lay off my Bucs, Bucco. Outside of the mouth-that-roared it is a collection of hard-hitting throwback players dedicated to the proposition that he who hits hardest wins.
Now if only their skill players could hold onto the damn ball!

I never stated it on the SDMB, but I was saying last year that Troy Aikman should retire. Besides the fact that his skills are obviously not what they used to be, he’s suffered too many concussions. He should talk to Steve Young and do as he did.
And I **am** a Cowboy fan, dating back to 1966, when they lost the Ice Bowl to Green Bay. I can still remember watching Bart Starr score that winning TD…

True. Though TB’s losing streak extended into the next season, to an astounding total of 26 consecutive losses, the longest losing streak by ANY NFL team, ever.
Overall, TB still does not have a winning record.
(Most teams don’t, though, it should be said. Out of 31 current teams, I think only about 12 of them have winning records over their history, assuming you count Baltimore as a new team [which the NFL does] and the Browns as a continuation of the original Browns [which the NFL does].)
