I think they own their stadium, too. That’s probably worth some scratch.
Thomas can void the final year of his contract, meaning he’d be a free agent in 2011. If the Browns can’t get him signed to an extension by then he might get the biggest free-agent contract in history. A premier left tackle in the absolute prime of his career. It would be a collossal bidding war.

Larry “fag” Johnson is a Bengal. If he has anything left, he can help this team. I think he does, especially in spot duty. Especially once the weather turns bad and Benson’s carries continue to pile up. Especially since he was averaging 4.5 ypc last season.
I like this signing, actually. He’s coming from a horrible situation into a good one, the locker room is strong enough to handle him, he’s a fourth-stringer with no expectations, the Chiefs had to pay him a portion of guaranteed money (so he’s not soley seeking a paycheck) and he’s a workhorse-type back that is similar in style to Benson.
I am quite pleased with this signing, actually. If he doesn’t work out for any reason, we just cut him and that’s it.
