Dude, get a DVR. You have no idea what kind of difference it makes (in your _life_, I mean.) For instance, your missing the first half of next Monday night’s game would actually be a \*good \*thing with a DVR, because it just means that you get to watch the game without commercials.

It’s not just one of those extra bells & whistles – it’s as important as having a remote control.
