Balls. Ward never leaves his feet, his right forearm is down against his body, his shoulder drives into Oglethree’s chest, such that he goes from leaning forward to having his entire torso stood upright, and Ward’s helmet is down and turned towards the left, away from Oglethree’s head. If anything, having Buster Skrine run full speed into the back of his head was probably more painful for Oglethree than Ward’s hit.

If they’re going to call that, they may as well just give receivers the same protection radius as punt returners.
