NFL Week 14

What’s the actual rule on not hitting a QB in the knee? Is it illegal to hit the knees or to hit anything below the knees?

I ask because Trent Cole had a sack today where, as he was falling down, he grabbed at the QB’s ankle and brought him down. As the QB was falling, Cole brought his other hand around and wrapped up his knee. He got flagged for making contact with the QB’s knee.

Is it like the head where any contact, no matter how slight and incidental, is a penalty?

I said it last week and I’ll say it again. In 10 years, Rodgers will be regarded as the best QB of all time.

If he stays healthy very well could be, but I think we are watching the greatest season by a quarterback ever.

With the Packers looking so good, I turned on the Bears/Broncos game. After 5 minutes, my brain strangled itself and I passed out. I think it’s a survival mechanism to protect me from such offensive ineptitude.

Nonsense. All true football fans hate offense.

Yeah, this is bad. At least if there were two shitty defenses out there we’d see a score on accident. Just hoping Hester does something.

I appreciate little more than a great defense beating a great offense (unless it’s the Packers getting beat).

But that’s not what is happening in the Bears/Broncos game. That is two very good defenses stopping really, really bad offenses.

Hanie, you’ve been sacked like 8 times already, how much time do you think you have?

Aaaaand officiating in the NFL just became a joke, courtesy of the Oak/GB game.

What happened?

Could you elaborate?

Tebow is 3-16. How appropriate.

Hah!

His receivers aren’t doing him any favors though.

A great 56 yard field goal from Robbie Gould, a new personal and franchise record.

Robbie Gould kicked the shit out of that FG. Bears franchise record at 57 yards, would have been good from 67.

The replay system is broken so no more reviews. Its unfortunate, but shit happens, hardly makes it a joke.

Tebow doesn’t bother to play well until he needs to. He’s trying to build a mystique.

Hey Lovie, usually it’s a good idea to have your backs cover the WRs.

It’s usually a better idea to have someone cover the WRs.

The Jets did the same thing, I don’t get it. Your defense makes Denver look silly all game, but then you change it up in the 4th.

Oh Barber… You’re not very intelligent.
