I picked the wrong week to bet against the Cowboys and Broncos. Also, bummer about Wentz. Reminds me of the 2014 Cardinals losing Palmer late in the season. ---

What the heck happened at the end of the Seattle-Jacksonville game? That was ugly and there will be some serious fallout. ---

Oof, official announcement that Wentz has a torn ACL. In December no less… I wonder if that means he’ll miss the majority (or all) of next season as well? Tough break. ---

Because, you know, reasons… Pete Carroll will always coach jerks, no matter where he coaches. As for my Packers, well, that was almost a nightmare. Thanks to the Browns for Brownsing! ---

Most of the time they’re professionals about losing (this is their 5th loss this year and first time that they had a discipline breakdown). The only other time I remember them going off like that was at the end of SB 49 and you can’t really blame them, that’s probably the most painful loss in NFL history. The whiny 8-year-olds were the Jag fans who were throwing stuff all throughout the game and especially on Jefferson there at the end. I also hated it when Seattle fans threw popcorn on an injured Navarro Bowman being carted off in the 2013 NFC Championship game (though that was just a few idiots and one incident, not happening all game). You really make all fans look like trash with that behavior. ---

The Seattle lineman dove at the Jag’s center’s legs in an attempt to get at the ball on a kneel down play. It’s a dangerous play on a defenseless player since the center can’t really defend himself during the snap. ---

I just read there will be no suspensions from that JAX/SEA game. I’m surprised, I thought there would (and should) be 1 game suspensions for one or two players. Even as a Hawks fan. Probably Richardson and Bennet. Fines are almost guaranteed though. There needs to be something, I don’t care if there was trash talk, the game’s over so just end it with dignity. ---

I don’t know if it’s right to read _too_ much into the Gronk-less Patriots losing a road game, but they sure didn’t look great. The top of the league is a good mix this year, with 10 or 12 teams who you could see putting a run together, but no real juggernauts. Eagles, Rams, Vikings, Saints, Panthers, Seahawks, Falcons, Packers Patriots, Steelers, Jags, Ravens (?), Chiefs (?), Chargers (?) I keep not wanting to believe in the Chargers, but they’re 7-2 in their last 9, and the two losses are on the road to NE and JAX. ---
